Bayview Bed and Breakfast offers two king-sized bedrooms and one queen size bedroom, each with a captivating view over Little Kaiteriteri beach across Tasman Bay to d’Urville Island and the Marlborough Sounds.
Each room is spacious and tastefully decorated with ensuite bathroom, heated towel rail, hair dryer, fridge, flat screen TV, wireless broadband and tea / coffee making facilities. One of our rooms can be converted into either a king bed or a twin room.
From your bed or the terrace – watch the sun rise out of the sea; enjoy a sumptuous full breakfast in the dining room with views across the bay.
There is a walkway from the house straight down to the Little Kaiteriteri beach – a safe swimming beach with wonderfully clear water and golden sand. It is sheltered and a perfect place to relax in the settled, sunny months.
You can swim, snorkel around the rocks, try sea kayaking or take a leisurely stroll along the beach and collect seashells.
Over the headland at the main Kaiteriteri Beach, a shop, restaurant & food take-aways await you.
There are also a number of walking tracks, both around the coast and through native bush, plentiful bird life and a number of beaches to visit in the immediate vicinity.
Bayview is located 12 kms from the township of Motueka and an easy 45 minute drive from Nelson City and Nelson Airport. It is close to Abel Tasman National Park and on the Abel Tasman Coachlines route from Nelson to Motueka.
Follow the Kaiteriteri – Marahau Road to the Bayview Bed and Breakfast signpost at the Cederman Drive turnoff. A further 200 metres on you have reached your destination at 2 Bayview Heights, overlooking the fabulous golden sands of Little Kaiteriteri beach.
